YouChemE is a co-located event dedicated for young professionals and students at the Gulf Downstream Association (GDA) Conference held from 13th to 15th February 2023. The three days program provides the youth with a unique opportunity to be inspired by successful professionals, network with companies and be prepared for the workplace. The program will feature ten hours content, including workshops, panel discussions, competitions, and mentoring sessions. It will feature distinguished speakers, including senior executives and international speaker.
The YouChemE exhibition area will feature an AI section, a resume checking station and a professional photoshoot station. Moreover, a high-school engagement program called FUEL- Future Leaders, will take place in the conference. Site visits to industrial companies will also be arranged allowing the students to learn more about the processes and operations.
YouChemE is organized by young professionals from the industry, from Bapco, Saudi Aramco, KIPIC, KNPC, GPIC, Honeywell, eMushrif and the Bahrain Chemical Engineers (BChemE) team.
